Our faith is anchored in the inspired Word of God. These 22 doctrines summarize the biblical convictions taught by Deeper Christian Life Ministry.
God’s infallible Word teaches, and we believe.

The 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament are the inspired Word of God and the final authority in matters of Christian faith, conduct and work.

We believe in one God eternally revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit—three distinct Persons perfectly united in the Godhead.

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was born of a virgin, was crucified, died, was buried and rose bodily from the dead.

Humanity is fallen and sinful and, apart from God’s saving grace, stands guilty before Him and subject to His righteous judgment.

True repentance is a sincere turning away from sin toward God and is necessary for the sinner who would believe savingly in Christ.

Where possible, a converted person should make right the wrongs done to others—restoring, repaying, confessing and apologizing so as to maintain a clear conscience before God and people.

We practice baptism by one immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as an act of obedience for those reconciled to God.

Believers regularly remember Christ’s sacrificial death through the Lord’s Supper, using unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine with reverence and self-examination.

We believe sanctification is a definite work of God’s grace after the new birth, cleansing the believer’s heart and enabling a life of holiness through faith in Christ’s sanctifying blood.

We believe the sanctified believer may receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit for power in witness and service, with the Spirit giving the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues; spiritual gifts remain for believers today.

Through Christ’s sacrificial death, we believe God has provided redemption and that believers may seek Him in faith for healing and health.

We uphold lifelong, monogamous marriage as the biblical pattern and teach believers to honor God’s standards for the marriage covenant.

We believe Christ will gather to Himself all living saints and those who died in the Lord before the Great Tribulation; believers are therefore called to live watchfully and ready.

Scripture teaches a future resurrection of all people—some to glory and others to judgment—affirming the enduring destiny of every soul.

We believe a period of extraordinary tribulation will follow the Rapture, marked by the rise and rule of the Antichrist and severe suffering on earth.

We believe Jesus Christ will return literally and visibly to judge the ungodly and establish His kingdom on earth.

Following His return, Christ will reign on earth for a literal thousand years, bringing a period of righteous rule, peace and blessing.

After the Millennium comes God’s final judgment of the unsaved dead, with the devil and his angels also receiving their final sentence.
